Cristy is a licensed manicurist who has a decade of experience
in the beauty industry. The on-the-job experience and continuing
education programs that she has attended have enabled Cristy
to accumulate a wealth of knowledge in the field of nail-care.
This has made her a much sought-after trainer and speaker
within her trade.
Her vision when she established the foundation
for the business model of Giacomo’s, was to:
“Create a total experience of quality services and
care while tempting all of your senses. At Giacomo’s

Lindsay Stuchell,
Schwarzkopf Educator & Managing
Cosmetologist  |

Lindsay has been in
the beauty industry for six years now, and she says, “I
enjoy every moment that I spend helping people with their
confidence
and feeling better about themselves.” She received
her advanced education at Charles Penzone’s Grand
Salon and Spa in Dublin, Ohio. Lindsay was able to train
with some of the finest educators that the industry has
to offer. Advanced seminars and continuing education have
allowed her to stay on the cutting edge of new and exciting
styles. By continuing her education, it has brought her
knowledge of color theory and placement to a level that
has left her with a large amount of respect from her peers!
Lindsay feels very strongly committed
to the community and has provided the leadership to establish
Giacomo’s
as an educational salon for women who are struggling with
feeling good about themselves as they endure chemo-therapy
treatments. |

| Tammie Havenar,
Managing Cosmetologist and Educator |

Tammie comes to us on a part-time basis
while she works full-time as an educator in Cosmetology
at the Upper Valley JVS. She has inspired hundreds of hair
stylists to pursue a career in this industry.
Tammie works on many committees to ensure that the young
people she works with are getting exposure to real-world
experiences in a Salon environment. She also shows them
that a career in helping people to look good and feel
confident can be very rewarding. |

| Amanda Scalice, Cosmetologist,
Stylist and Hair Extension Specialist |

Amanda is a Design Stylist who is certified
in Schwarzkopt color and products. She also has completed
training and has her certification in hair extensions with
the "Hairdreams" company.
Amanda was employed as a full time receptionist
at Giacomo’s since the opening of the salon. In
addition to the training Amanda received from the bricks
and mortar setting with her formal education, she received
on the job training working as an intern under our stylists
here at Giacomo's.

| Frances Shouvlin,
Managing Cosmetologist, Stylist and Hair Extension Specialist |

Frances is a life long Trojan who is
a graduate of The Carousel Cosmetology School where she
completed the Managing Cosmetologist program. Frances is
certified in Schwarzkopf color and products that are used
here at the salon. She is a Design Stylist who has completed
training and has her certification in hair extensions with
the "Hairdreams" company.
She says that her favorite client service is to give
Spa Pedicures. Frances has received on the job training
working as an intern under our stylists here at Giacomo’s. |

Rachel is a graduate of Creative Images
Cosmetology School where she completed the Managing Cosmetologist
program. She is a Design Stylist who has completed training
and has her certification in hair extensions with the "Hairdreams" company.
Rachel has received on the job training working as an
intern under out stylists here at Giacomo's. She says
that her favorite client service is Updos for a special
event. Rachel excels at taking the client's idea from
a book and transforming it to their hair making it truly
a special event for the client. |

| Erica Shatz , Managing
Cosmetologist and Stylist |

Erica is a graduate of the Carousel Beauty
College, where she earned her certification in Schwarzkopf
color and Bio-Elements skin care. Her goal is to continue
her training to become a Schwarzkopf educator. Her experience
includes using the Matrix, Lo real, and Schwarzkopf color
lines as well as Redken, Schwarzkopf, and Sebastian product
lines.
Erica is skilled in performing stylist design cuts,
updos’, and coloring, but she also loves the other
aspects of being a cosmetologist because it has offered
her so much in the way of training and knowledge in not
only hair care, but also skin care, make-up, and nails. |

| Shirley Patton, Licensed
Massage Therapist |

 |
Shirley is a Massage Therapist who holds
her license with the State of Ohio. She conducted
her training with the Dayton School of Medical Massage. She
is trained in Swedish, hot stone, and comfort touch massage. Shirley
has also had training in deep tissue, trigger point, carpal
tunnel, golfer’s and tennis elbow, Fibromyalgia,
and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome massage.
Once a week, Shirley does massages
for those people who are mentally and physically challenged
so that they may enjoy the benefits of therapeutic massage. Shirley
is also working with the Defense Department to spend two
weeks volunteering her services to soldiers serving overseas. |

| Marie Francis,
Licensed Massage Therapist: |

 |
Marie is a Licensed Massage Therapist
who holds her license with the State of Ohio, who is originally
from the Cleveland/Akron area. Marie graduated in 2004
from the Dayton School of Medical Massage in Kettering.
She began her massage career in Kettering at A Muse Sings,
Inc. and has since relocated to the Troy area.
Marie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology
from Ohio University which allows her to bring a Health
and Wellness awareness to her clients.
Marie has extensive experience in corporate chair massage
programs with local businesses such as Lexis-Nexis and
the Dayton Dragons. Marie feels that Chair Massage allows
corporate employees the chance to take a short relaxing
break and when they return to work they feel energized,
refreshed, and more alert. |

| Pam Bartel, RN

Pam is a graduate of the Springfield
Community Hospital School of Nursing and a 2001 graduate
of the Self Health Institute School of Medical Massage.
She specializes in Swedish massage, muscle energy, trigger
point, hot stone and chair massage techniques.
Having more than twenty years of experience in the health
care field working as a registered nurse, Pam has recognized
the effect that touch has in easing pain and calming
anxious patients.
Pam has been involved with local businesses performing chair massages
and has presented various programs regarding nursing, health,
and massage topics for clubs, schools, and social events. She
has membership in the Ohio Chapter of the American Massage Therapy
Association and Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and
Bodywork.

Jodie is a licensed Massage Therapist
who specializes in Swedish Massage and trigger point therapy.
She received her certification from MVCTC.
Jodie is very much in harmony with her clients and enjoys
educating them on stress reduction and healthy living.
In addition to therapeutic massage, she also specializes
in natural nail care in t he salon.

Angie received her Associates degree from Sinclair Community College and SHI Integrated Massage and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture School. She specializes in Swedish massage, Craniosacral, Muscle Energy techniques, Polarity, and Integrative Myoneural therapies as well as Japanese Acupressure chair massage. Angie has also been certified in Ayurvedic Therapies including Warm oil massage and Nasya-Sinus treatments. Her goals are to inspire and help all of the lives she comes in contact with through a healing touch. |

| Jeri Duncan, Certified Reiki-Master / Practitioner: |

Jeri received her Reiki-Master degree in
May of 2002. This was a culmination of the diverse scope
of Metaphysics that she has been studying for the last ten
years. Jeri has found that Reiki and Metaphysics has become
a life path that has brought her new heights of understanding
and awareness.
Jeri is excited about sharing her knowledge and experience
with all of her clients. Reiki is a wonderful complimentary
practice to assists in overall well-being, sense of peace,
and of self empowerment.

Rebecca received her certification in
Reflexology over five years ago. She enjoys helping people
who have varied reasons for needing reflexology. Reflexology
is a very relaxing way to relieve stress and improve overall
health.
In addition to Reflexology, Rebecca
uses Yoga, Pilates, cycling and music to aid in her personal
relaxation. |

JoLynn has been employed as a part time
receptionist at Giacomo’s since the summer of 2004.
JoLynn is currently working on her Master’s Degree
at Wright State University where she is majoring in Psychology.
Because of her formal education she is very focused on
creating a pleasant salon experience as she works with
our clients.

Customer service is what Lacey is all about.
She pampers
every client from the time she greets them to the time that
they walk out the door. She is currently working as a receptionist
at Giacomo’s on a part time basis. She is a life-long
Trojan and also works as a pharmacy technician in Troy at
Clark's Pharmacy.
